all in all guys this is a great gun and seing this one makes me want to sell my ml and get this mls version

BTW if your converting to 209 from 11 this is the kit you want (available through cabelas) Igaurantee it works 110 times better then the remington 209, though the remington #11 was always good to me.

Just noticed this as I have just purchased a 700 MLS magnum. Scroll down to the red writing near the bottom. CAUTION!!

Think I would have to call BS on that caution. Had one, worked great.

Agreed having owned3 700mls personally and knowing at least dozen others who also used this 209 conversion kit, not a problem. The fouling in thebolt housing/firing pin/spring areais a faulty design by the manufacturer(Remington). It should be common knowledge for any 700MLS user regardless of ignition that theyneed to disassemblethe bolt regularily and clean appropriately. Failure to do so will lead to problems guaranteed!!
