What part of Pa are these growing , I know that parts of the state are pretty mild while other areas are much harsher. My brother still lives there near DuBois. If you think there is a chance they would do OK there I'd like to get a package of seed sent to him.

Hi I'm 20 miles roughly above Allentown pa, i know these wild persimmons will grow any were in pa. one may want to mulch around young plants if possible there first year or two to provide extra frost protection esp if planted in the northern tiers of pa and further north. i have a friend that has persimmons and paw paw growing up North in pike which have been growing and producing fruit as well for a few years.

Alex i will pm you my address, seeds will ship upon receiving payment.

Lil note:: you other folks from the other site were i lost my membership/banned for selling these seeds, under user name goldiehunter08, your seeds have been shipped and you should receive them soon if you haven't already.

I'm working on a small persimmons page on my web site..pictures will be up soon.
feel free to check it out and bookmark it

How fast do they grow from a seed? How far apart should they be planted? Will they grow in about any type of soil?

My order showed up, seems the post office bout destroyed the envelope, they repacked it in one of their fancy ones with a note saying they were real sorry ,then telling me how good their record is, anyway the seeds are here and spending the winter in the cold.
Thanks Alex
