Huge typical out of Macoupin county Illinois
I heard about this deer last week and asked around but no one seemed to know anything about him except the guy that told me about him. Killed on the second day of shotgun season. The guy that told me about him said he had a 27 in. spread and has been scored unofficailly at 218.

From the pix shown, it looks like this buck may have a problem with common bases on some of the points.
If so, it will be like the Zaft Buck and instead of being a new world record, instead score in the 170's due to heavy deductions.
Just for fun-
By looking at the pix, I'd say he has a gross score around 190-195. Net will be much lower, maybe 165-170".
It will be real interesting to see what the final score is. Maybe after the IL Deer Classic?
Irregardless of score, it is a great buck!
