Boy i wish i could help you out. I've got about 920 acres in south west missouri in nw barton county and south west veron county that could be leased for deer season. But am sure thats too far for you to drive. But there have been guys that drive along ways just to get away to hunt.

541 miles is a pretty long drive. But hey do what makes you happy. I have drove several miles to rabbit hunt and coonhunt with guys over the years and loved every min of it...I would love to run up to canda to hair hunt. Branko Karpan has a guided hunt for them. Maybe one day i will save enouph to go....

outlaw,

I usally just hunt around here, but i do run down around Branson to hunt with some family, or run over into Kansas to hunt with a few guys. Iam like you i love to hear those beagles run him around.

Yes there has been a few nice bucks seen. A really nice 10 pointer, nice 12 pointer, and a guy was telling about seeing a wild rack on a big buck but really didn't know how many points, but said the rack was wild looking hard to explain typing. but i have never seen him. seen some pretty nice 6 pointers but the racks really werent big. You can use any center fire rifles for deer season here.
