I didnt see anything saturday, sunday morning I passed on a 4-pointer and a doe that
is a frequent visitor of my stealth cam, I call her horse faced sue.

I must have heard 200 shots saturday morning, it was unreal. But I dont mean single
shots either, just about every time I heard someone shoot, they unloaded their gun.
Whats up with that? Cant anybody hit a deer with one shot anymore?[:@]

Sat. morning from 7-10 I counted 370 shots and from 10-12 probably another 100 but I was not counting. A typical opening weekend.

Wish they would take the other states lead and run the shotgun season after the rut. Then we would see some real bucks. At least the 1 Buck rule is HELPING!!!

My son and two brother and I went out opening morning on our propery in Stubean county. Lots of shooting going on. Around 8am I heard my one brother take a shot, 5mins later I nice 6point walks out by me. Perfect lung shot drops 20yrds away. I wait about 15mins later my other brother shoots a huge 8point and then a small doe. We get down and start tracking the deer, after we find them all my son comes over who was over on the other side of the property, had several bucks around him all morning and tells me he just shot a small 3 pointer, his first deer ever. All of this in about 45mins time frame. It was an unbelieveable morning. Will post some pics later.

I hunt up in LaGrange Co. I got a 7pt this past saturday morning..and a big doe sunday morning.

*Edit: It's not just "shotgun" season..it's "firearms season." I used my Knight Revolution muzzleloader for these 2 deer.
