That would make absolutely no sense at all. I could see it in parts of SE...but it will make Wayne Nat'l and the other places down there unhuntable. Could you imagine the amount of lead that'll be flying? The projectiles will be smaller, but they'll be going a hell of a lot faster.

Did you say 30-30 or larger??? That would be assinine. A 270 wouldn't do? It's only about 3X better than a 30-30.

Sounds fishy to me.

I have a couple of friends who work for ODNR and nobody has said a word. I'll have them do some research for us and see if this is true.

It would surprise me if they would okay rifles. I agree that they would probably restrict them to the SE where we have more hilly terrain and are less populated.

Spoke to a employee of ODNR and they said it was suggested for SE Ohio but that is probably as far as it will get because of safety concerns.

Talked to our Local Game Warren last night, he said he heard nothing of the sort.Check out Ohio Department Of Natural Res.They show what is being propose, I could not fine anything about a gun change.
