Was just wondering if anybody had any info on the DNR meetings about the issusing of non-resident hunting licences. I heard from my outfitter that they might be changing the amout of tags they issue to non residents and are limiting the amount that the outfitters can get. any info would be great. thanks Lou-Lou

They are not looking to increase the NR cap any more than it is. There is "talk" of reserving some of the current NR tags for Outfitters. They also want to jack the price up to rip off the NR hunter even more. They want to raise the tag prices to over 400 dollars. Also they are going to change the way Archery permits are sold. A lottery was discussed with a possible prefrence point system to make to fair to those that didnt draw the year before.
Im happy they want to go to a mail in lottery. Im happy the cap is going to stay in place but it sure stinks thay want to jack the tags up to 400 dollars. I think this will hurt all hunters as other states will follow suit. I also dont like the reserved tags for the NR since this hurts the NR hunter that wants to hun t with family and friends. Just my opinion..............
