i like my pump .22

I also use a 12 o/u. Do you use a Stoeger by chance?

single shot 410

I have hunted bushy tails for quite some time with Remington 22s and have switched the past two years to a RWS model 34 with scope. This is a wonderful 1000 yds.\ sec. pellet rifle that is not only quiet, but is acurate and lethal with head shots. Just sit under the tree and take your limit! It's a blast to fill to daily bag with a pellet gun!

Always used a .22 rimfire, but after a couple of buddies bought .17's over the summer may have to look into one of those. Those things are lethal out to about 125 yards.

Single shot .410 usually but sometimes the old .410 bolt. .410 is plenty for bushy tails. Never really could understand firing rifles (.22's, etc....) upwards, those slugs can travel far and that seems dangerous to me.it's gotta come down somewhere.
