I am going BlackPowder hunting and deer hunting for the 1st time ever. I was wondering if I go early in the morning like pheasant and quail. Or do I go in the evening? Do I spend all day out there? What does this SWKS rookie do??? Thanks

i would say plan to hunt all day in the stand but thats just what i do, i know some people that only hunt in the morningings and in the evenings but i also see a good amount of deer movement around 11:30-1:00 so i stay out all day

Like my grandfather always said, the best time to hunt is when you can. The best place is where you can.
Just go. When you feel like you've had enough take a break. Then go again. Repeat until you have your deer, or the season ends.
You will learn all the other stuff along the way. A partner helps, but you don't need one. As long as you're enjoying yourself you're successful.
