Crisis

Moving to Ohio in about three weeks. Cannot buy a resident license for 6 months.

Wonder when my IN resident hunting license expires?

Your Indiana license expires at the end of whatever is stamped on it currently.

If you were in Ohio that would be the end of Feb.

Simply they are not recognizing you as a resident for 6 months. So you hunt as you are a non-resident because that is what they consider you. You'll have to buy appropriate licenses/tags, etc..

Most states have a waiting period before you are considered a resident, I suspect your home state has a similar law. It prevents people who move around on their job and stay in different states fr a month or so then move on from claiming residence status when in fact they are transients.
