I don't know if this is where u should post this at or not but anyways me and some buddies were planing a trip up to Michigan for a week to go bow hunting on public land in December we got the cabin reserved I got my license bought now it's just the waiting time till we leave. I'm wondering if anyone has had any luck on public land in Michigan and if this is worth my money or not

Funny you mentioned the UP when he didn't even say where he was going. I doubt seriously that he's going way up there. More than likely their cabin is in the middle or northern part of the LP where they will be hunting. If it's in the middle of the state, they will probably see deer. If they're going to the northern part of the LP, they will probably wish they had stayed and hunted in IN.

Noticed he hasn't posted on how well he and his buddies did.
I would also like to know what part of the UP has tons of deer. Reports I have seen even the farming area of Menominee County is not doing all that well this year.

A nice 10 pointer at 75 yards in December on public land is a rare sight in my neck of the woods.
or in Wexford and Osceola counties, Marion McBain area near my brother.
