This don't make sense. The population took no winter hit in zone 5 that I could see. I saw lots of Toms the whole dang season from April to the end of May.

I went to apply for a fall tag and I could only purchase for zone 1, 2, or 3!

Zone 5 had a ton o turkeys.

Is that a change from previous years? I'm not a fall hunter (always wanted to try it). Maybe its intended to minimize conflicts with bow hunters??? We saw plenty in area 1 this year.
