Are they ever going to do the first RDD draw? The deadline was August 13, and when I check the online system, it still says pending. Did everyone else get drawn and I'm just in some kind of computer limbo? I'm applying for a county tag, can't imagine I wouldn't get it.

If you are asking if they did the first round draw - yes they did. Our party was late getting our applications. We all filed online a day before second lottery deadline and we have all now received our permits in the mail.

Now I'm ready to pick up a few more over the counter permits at Bass Pro this weekend, too.

I called DNR yesterday & was told that they haven't started the random daily draws yet, even though the website dates say they should have. He couldn't give me a date for when they would start either.

Thanks all, I was asking about the random daily draws. We drew in the first lottery, and it seemed like they drew that one earlier than usual. Then the second wasn't completed until the day before the RDD's were to begin (made it hard to know what was left to apply for). Now this. I know that state's broke, but how hard is it to run a computerized lottery??

Murdy, I applied for my second tags on the RDD at least two weeks back and those tags still aren't in the online system yet. Good old state of Illinois, the Inquiry Website looks like its a 1980's Atari game too. Think they may need to update soon!

Yeah, Fastetti, I always wonder if that long list of buttons on the left hand side of the page ever served a function, and what it would have been, lol. I put mine in on the day before the RDD's were supposed to start, so they must not have done any RDD drawing yet.

I applied on 8/13 the first day open and nothing ?? what are they waiting on ,opening day !!!

They really shouldn't call this "Random Daily Drawings" but more "Random Monthly Drawings"! Oh well, as long as I get mine I its not too big of a deal. I already have the combo permit, just looking for an additional one.

They never really were daily. They let the applications pile up for a while, and then did a drawing one day, at random. That didn't bother me, as long as they did the drawing at some point, so I could plan/apply for another.

I have as well tags awaiting. I have called 3 times and have been told the same thing. "We are going to be drawing them tomorrow or later this week" Well, how many freaking weeks are the y going to be drawing the next day or week? I asked the guy and he said that they have been REAL busy!!! I asked doing what, certainly not drawing and getting listed!!!!!!! I called from work so they can't trace it back to me and trash can my tags!!!!!!!!
