The Illinois 1st turkey lottery results are posted.

Last few years my picks have gone from 2nd choice to 4th to 8th ! Not so this year. Drew my 1st choice.

Does anyone know when the second lottery results will be posted? Or how long they typically take to be posted?

It'll be about a week. The deadline for the first lottery was 12/01/12 and I found out I got my 1st choice on 12/12/12. Now, I'm just waiting for a second tag. Good luck.

Snakeater, If you drew a tag in the 1st lottery, you are not elligible to apply for the 2nd. So if you already did a 2nd, they usually convert it to a 3rd lottery application. And tags will be gone by then, so you'll need to check and edit your picks. I expect you already know this, but posting in case anyone else did this. The ILDNR won't notify you of the swap.

That's what I thought. They did have me down for the 3rd lottery. Oh well if I don't get a second tag. I know it's much harder for public land, but I figured I'd try my luck since its on private land.
