Default 50-Cal Friendly Ranges in IL?

I know of no publicly-accessible ranges in Illinois that allow .50 BMG. I know of one members-only range in Aurora, but I'm not going to join a range that is 100 miles away and I only go to 2-3 times a year.

Thanks. Unfortunately, their website says that they specifically disallow .50 BMG.

Sorry for the bad info, if you are an NRA member, Tri County Gun Club rules states any legal firearm may be used. Not sure if that would be closer than Aurora for you. (I suspect its a lot cheaper than Aurora, too).

NRA Life Member here. I'll look into that. Thanks!

I know that Buffalo range had previously allowed .50 BMG, and that was where I was planning on shooting it when I purchased the rifle. When I looked it up again post-purchase, I was disappointed to see that it was no longer allowed.
