Sat in the stand yesterday morning and had a 130" class buck at about 20 yards in some thick stuff chasing a doe,along with a budddy in a different area hunting in Nebraska also had a 6x6 chasing a doe throughout his stand are...pre-rut is on in Nebraska in my opinion....let em fly!!!

Im around the Northeastern corner of the state..along the Elkhorn river is where I saw the action..I hunt all over the state,but tend to stay along the river mostly...tough hunting.deer travel the river hard..buttt its varying throughout the state on the rut..tough time of year,give it a few weeks and it'll be on..usually end of october beginning of november is when it hits hard..around rifle season,and I dont rifle hunt,just bow and muzzleload and every other kind of hunting,besides rifle,its to easy.haha..cheers to ya bud
