Bowhunt Lease in McHenry County, IL
An exclusive lease for up to two ethical hunters (just you or you and your hunting buddy - you decide) is available for the 2011-2012 Archery Deer Season that runs from October 1, 2011 to January 15, 2012. This lease would be exclusively for bowhunting (no other type of hunting is permitted on the land).
Located in rural, Woodstock, IL, the land is comprised of 25 vacant acres. This is centrally located in McHenry County and ideal for a hunter looking to get consistent hunting in on early week day mornings (and still make it to work on time), evenings and weekends. The convenience factor will be hard to beat.
To describe the land briefly - Land is relatively flat toward the front with rolling topography leading toward a high morraine in the back. The foliage transitions from open pasture in the front into dense forest (large mature oak and pines) in the back with several open glades. A walking path (periodically mowed) runs around the whole property. Neigboring properties include cornfields to the west, large estates (5 - 10 acres+) to the south and east and livestock farm to the west.
