The season is almost here and I will be coming to your area to visit relatives on Oct 4 - 11 and was wondering if I could get a little help. I plan on bow hunting while there and am trying to get all the info I can on public land hunting. I know about the Ohio DNR websites and the maps but just wanted to get the latest info about the deer populations as of late. Possibly in Egypt Valley or Tappan Lake area. Any info to point me in the right direction would be greatly appreciated. I am not looking to lease any land, just to hunt the way we all grew up hunting... the hard way!!!!!
