Default shawnee forest or mark twain forest?

ive hunted shawnee national forest before,so i know what to expect there.ive got a chance to go hunt mark twain nat forest in missouri.i like the fact you can use a rifle and the season is longer.i would love to make both trips, but i dont think i will have enough vacation time saved up.ideally,i would like to hear from someone that has hunted both places, but any feedback on either place would be appreciated.

Don't remember the district but we hunted near Licking. The further North in Missouri the better!!
