Has anyone ever done shotgun deer hunting at the Kishwaukee FWA in Kirkland, IL? I am new to hunting, I was planning to go to Wisc. but it looks like I wont have the $$$ this year... also in coming years I'd like to teach my kids to hunt, maybe starting with rabbit and squirrel, any suggestions where i could take them?

It was a great little park but they did a lot of sharpshooting to manage the CWD on that park. There are better public land opportunites IMO.
