No luck for me so far. I'm hunting on Fort Leonard Wood and in the nearby Mark Twain Nat. Forest. The weather is not helping. I've only heard 4 gobbles in four days, 3 last Fri and 1 on Sun. The turkeys are very tight beaked. Gonna set up near a field this morning, near where I saw some tracks.

I live in Iowa but go to Mo. every spring to hunt turkeys. Went down on sat. morning to try for my first weeks bird and was done in two hours. The birds were really fired up and have been for a couple of weeks. I hunt in northern mo.
