So, not hunting works for you? How?
I guess you mean that you don't generally see deer in the morning during late season?????? If you're at home, then that is why it doesn't work. I could see shortening your morning hunt, but no way do I think movement is necessarily better in the morning or evening. It could be, but I have never witnessed a difference. It is usually colder in the morning, which plays a factor for me. i usually dont see much movement until at least 10 or 11, so thats y i dont go early. IMO theres no reason to be there when the deer arent there either. early and mid season is a different story. but late season ill stick with midday on. no reason to burn yourself out in a cold stand to watch nothing. But like posted earlier, hunt when u can and when the deer are moving. if they move early where ur hunting then be there. just doesnt seem to work out for me to be there early in late season. so ill stick with midday to dark near a good food source. |
Makes sense. I will sleep in and give it a try. Thanks.
I agree anymore if I am not seeing anything my 8 - 8 thirty, I am done. |
