Its going good here. Our nieghbor killed a 12 point typical with a 22" spread. It is going to score right at 170". I've seen a bunch of 100-140" bucks. Passed on all of them. My Dads friend missed a 160" 10 point with his cva muzzleloader because it had a hangfire. My uncle jumped what they say was a 180" 12 point up, and his buddy had it at 20 yards and didn't shoot because it was in brush! I haven't been lucky enough to see a 150" plus buck yet. We've killed 5 does so far on our place. One field dressed 148. All of the people hunting around our area our having a good gun season.

It sounds like the idiots around here are doing well. I'm in Morrow county...and I hear Boom, Boom, Boom constantly. It's better than the 5 consecutive booms I used to hear before they instituted the plug rule.

I gun hunt in WV...and it is unusual to hear multiple shots. Here it is the norm. Scares me to death because judgement goes out the window then you are leading a running deer. I have 12 acres...and yesterday I witnessed (from my window) 11 guys surround a patch of brush about 4 acres. They started through and a doe came out. It sounded like the military just spotted Bin Laden.

She came out unscathed...
