Shot my doe in cwd area and just got my buck authorization sticker. Will be hunting for bucks from here on out.

I think it's crap that they make us earn a buck still in cwd area.
I won't be taking another doe this season, and won't next year if I don't get my buck this season. Sticker is good for 2 years.

In the morning I saw nothing, then had to go to my son soccer game at 8:30, I thought sonething would of been moving with the fog.

But none the less, I arrowed her saturday evening and I, wife and my 6 year old son tracked her sunday morning, 6 year old found her. He is a 2 legged tracking machine!! LOL He is so proud today. As is I.

I'm hunting a new area but did manage to see a few does and a buck, just not in bow range. Better than nothing. Congrats on the doe.

i didnt have the time to get out but i think i will be going out on fri morning. Hopefully i will see something as this is my first time bow hunting.

it was to hot this past weekend to go out so i went to a bow shoot instead. im going out this coming weekend. hopefully i can stick one

I think that is cool that your son found the deer, great experience...start em' young.

Does anyone know anything about Marathon county I have permission to hunt small farm up there. Just want to make sure good deer herd before going 8 hours and are out of state tags be bought over counter?

dont know about the deer up there but yes you can buy a tag over the counter, but you will want to do it at least 3 days prior to hunting
