Hello Ducks Unlimited Supporter,
We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to our 31st annual membership banquet. This year’s banquet will be August 19th, 2009 at the Ramada Inn Convention Center. ****tails and games (many new and exciting) will start at 6:00 p.m., dinner to follow at 7:00 p.m. The staff will be preparing a grand buffet featuring Chicken Chardonnay, and Chef Carved Prime Rib.
This years event will again feature, limited edition DU guns, fabulous artwork, carvings, hunting decoy packages and a few new surprises. As in the past, we will be awarding some lucky winner a Browning BPS 410 Shotgun engraved with the DU seal. As we have done in the past there will only be 60 tickets available for this item. The banquet will also feature a limited edition PM River DU hand-made fishing rod. This years banquet will also include a youth (18 and under) duck calling contest. The winner will receive a hand crafted Bill Saunders “Reload” goose call. Duck calls will be provided for contestants.
The cost for this year’s dinner is $45.00 for a single, which includes your DU membership. Additional dinner tickets are $25.00. You can also purchase the popular “BIG SPENDER” package for $100.00. This package includes 2 dinner tickets, 1 membership, 1 ticket for the Browning 410, 1 ticket for the Marlin.22 Cal Rifle and $20.00 in general raffle tickets.
The Sponsor package for this year’s event will cost $300.00. When becoming a sponsor, you and only the other sponsors will be eligible for the sponsor guns. The sponsor package includes a “Big Spender” package, limited edition sponsor print, and a lapel pin. Once again this year, for sponsors only we are offering 2 additional dinner tickets for you to bring 2 guests who have not attended our dinner in the last 3 years. This incentive is to introduce DU to possible new members in the future.
Attached you will find the order form. Please fill out completely and mail to the address listed on the bottom of the order form. All entries received before August 10th will be entered into the “Early Bird” drawing for $50.00 in raffle tickets.
All tickets and packages will be picked up the night of the banquet as you enter. You must include a form of payment or a package will not be reserved in your name.
