Are you from Norway by chance?

RE: Future exhange student needing info about US hunting
Im from Norway, yea! :)
Surprising you know where it is, as most americans think that Norway either A) is at the north pole or B) the capitol of Sweden... :) |
RE: Future exhange student needing info about US hunting
I had a colleague from Norway named Arne years back. However, I think that plenty of Americans know where Norway is located. It is somewhat of a myth that all Americans arebad withgeography or at least any worse thanother people.

Looks like you will be here for all of our seasons, deer, turkey, waterfowl and all the other critters too. You'll be able to find all the info you need on the Missouri Conservation site. If you find any of it confusing (and you will) shoot me a pm and I'd be glad to help explain any of it.
What part of the state are you headed to? Based on the info I'm guessing the SW part of the state. |
RE: Future exhange student needing info about US hunting
No, actually I'll be staying in a county called Laffayate (probably wrong spelled though), aprx. one hour east of KC. :)
Ill look into it. As we're living on dorms (2 man rooms at the school), we don't actually get to live with a family, but we are assigned to volluntair (again, wrong spelled) families who ought to support us and spend some weekends with us based on what we answered on a list of interests. This means (as i listed hunting/fishing) that I most likely get assigned to a hunting family. Do "most" families in rural parts of MO hunt? So you think its a real chance for me to get assigned to a hunting family? |
