yeah the 11th is the "offical" date but they always send the lucky winners their letters early, I just don't remember how early so I made this tread that way when they start going out we will know.

coming down this year for first time bowhunt! can you tell me a little more on the manage area's by the dnr. and also how do you apply for it I'm a non-res. my father has a ranch down there. was invited by a few of his ranch neighbors to hunt. Thanks!

I myself didn't put in for any managed hunts this year because I will be hunting in Arkansas too and just will not have time but I did put my too sons in fora youth hunt and this is the last year my oldest son will qualify do to age amdI really hope they get drawn we have been drawn in the past for this hunt and he really enjoyed it.

Hey Ranger,
As far as I know, you can hunt at just about any of the DNR areas, it's just that they hold the managed hunts that Steve is talking about in populated areas. Of course you have to hunt according to the state regulations.
