So what does shooting little bucks have to do with bait piles? By having a bait pile does it mean you HAVE to shoot a little one. Baiting has nothing to do with patience.

I agree one hundred percent HOYTTEEN.

I think bigger bucks are a little smarter when it comes to bait piles. But patience does prevail.... and the RUT makes em' stupid!!! [8D]

Buckhunter because they don't have a 100 bait piles per square mile to feed on back then. They actully had to feed on acorns and greens and not just lay 100 yards from a pile of corn and get out of bed 1/2 hr before dark and daylight. Walt

Ok. Then whats the differance of a buck bedding down 100 yds from a corn field than a corn pile?

Becuase when theacorns fall that is where they will be walking around!!

It basically lets the deer roammore and lets hunters able to enjoy to see more deer ! instead of having piles of food evry 100 to 200 meters between stands! ( basicly c@#k blocking) one another![:'(]
