I called the DNR office in Alton monday afternoon the 1st, and told the woman that I was on the website, and they weren't available, and it just says in July and wanted to know what day in July. She wasn't the most pleasant person to talk to, and just told me "sometime in July sir".

No, the 1st lotteryresident apps. are delayed, theNon-Residents are part of the 2nd lottery which the deadline to apply is Aug 14th.

I was wondering what was going on, this is the first year I applyed on line. I hope I did'nt mess up. Sounds like you have the inside info. I always get a McHenery county, almost always get a fair buck. Last year took a dandy, went 172. Wish I'da had a shot at him with the hoyt, saw him twice with the bow, but never got in range, then with the slug gun had a 15yd. shot, go figure.

Bump. When i tried to check today it said the inquiry system was down while they held the first lottery, so us residents should know soon. But I'm not worried, because it has been at least 20 years since i didn't get what i want.

Site is still down

i just checked it and it said that my shotgun are still pending but it says i got my muzzleloader permits

I was gonna check and see if I got my MZ permit. System is down at 11:25am
