Lanse extends his holdings

Lanse extends his holdings
Went to Illinois for an extended weekend and came across an ad for ten acres of wooded bottom land on the Fox river in Wayne County. Made a low-ball offer and the counter offer came back low enough for me to agree to the deal. Providing the deal gets finalized, my vast holdings now spread from Richland County to Wayne County. Anybody familiar with the northeast portion of Wayne county close to where the Fox joins theLittleWabash?

Lanse, is that near Albion and Fairfield? I know some guys who own some ground on the little Wabash down there and there are some true monster bucks in that area. I think you made a wise investment. I would still like to meet up at Highbenders some time and shoot the crap.

It is due west of Parkersburg and kind of northeast of Fairfield. From the looks of things, the Fox river dumps into the little Wabash a couple miles south of the land.
I was up in the Bend for a little while this weekend while coming back from a birthday party in Oblong, but didnt make it into St. Marie. I should be back in Illinois over the 4th of July and might get up to High Benders for a couple cans of Stag Beer.

Looks like you do have some monsters down in that part of the country. I doubt that i will even deer hunt this year, but will be happy if i can take some rabbits, squirrels, and maybe some wood ducks off the property.
