Today I received our paper IDNR firearm deer permit applications in the mail. That's nice.

The deadline to apply for the first lottery is April 30th.

Maybe they could have waited a bit longer.

Same here. On-line the only way to go in this state.

I got mine day before yesterday in the mail. Tossed it in the trash cause I already applied online 4/1. I think they had the same trouble last year sending them out. I've applied online since it was available.

Ditto for me. I stated in an earlierthread that i think the IDNR waits so long to send out applications to encourage more people to apply on-line in order to save some money. Don't forget, the Governor of Chicago (apparently, the rest of the state doesn't exist in his mind) has pretty much raped and pillaged the IDNR budget the last 5-6 years. I think they are just trying to make do with what they got.

Just got mine 5 mins. ago.....I can't wait to see Blogoja*itch get his room in the governors wing of the federal pen.

You gotta wonder why he hasn't been charged yet, being official A and all.

I still haven't received mine...

In fact the group I hunt with...6 guys...no one has recieved it yet...ridiculous...
