Found another 106 today. Between three of us we totaled 316. Puts my total for the year just shy of 1200

I'm a novice with Morels. My wife and I decided to go looking yesterday for the 1st time, and found 19 in about an hour. 1 was different from the rest...it had the same shape was the color was a yellowish white. I'm kind of hesitant to eat it. Any recommendations?

Here's a picture of them.

If you're talking about the 2nd one in the bottom row, it's fine to eat. We call them blondes around here. They eat the same as the rest. The ones to stay away from are a reddish brown.

Another 598 for two of us tonight. Could have been more but we ran out of daylight.
