Thats a great moose, our family has a cabin just on the edge of the BWCA and the zone I apply for is about ten miles from the cabin boat the first 6 and paddle the last four my father in law got one back in the early 80s when before the once in a liftime thing and then gota second just recently. I think with all of his buddies they have got 6 up there and now its me a my friends turn.
Good luck getting one!! I wanna do it some day myself.

Well I have put in for a few years now with no luck for a moose license and I had to other groups of friends put in this year and they both got drawn as well as a friend of my father in law so it looks like our cabin and maybe freezers will be full.

Anyone know when the results come out on the bear tags.

Hey y'all. Figured I should drop in and say hi, though it may be a little premature at the moment. I live in WY right now, but my wife and I are gearing up for a move to her family's farm in the next 3-4 weeks, assuming the rest of everything comes together with a job.
See, I figure I should say hi, though, because I've never turkey hunted before, and there seems to be an abbundance of turkeys onthe farm, so somebody is going to have to come show me how it's done this fall. The farm is about 20 miles south of St.Cloud. I have no clue how you go about shooting one of these birds. I originally thought it was simply a matter of going and sitting down and waiting for one to walk in front of you. Turns out there's more to it than that.

I know a bit about turkey hunting

I'm not far from you either.I go to college at st. cloud state university. There is a lot of turkeys around that area, and a boat load of pheasants too.
