Add Wisconsin to your list. Too many hunters overlook Wisconsin as a prime state to hunt. Wed love to have you.....and your money :D

Don't waste your time hunting anywhere in Wisconsin, To Many hunters not doing QDM, Not many trophies out there, and most your deer have CWD. Try OHIO, heard that the venison tastes better there.

The Venison tastes wonderful in Ohio!! Remember we have two records to our name:D Only problem is, no rifle. If you DO come to Ohio look for places in the Athens, Ohio area, absolute monsters down there. Ever heard of the Hanson and Beatty Bucks? Thats the area they were shot, both with bow.

We have more than a few records to our name....however, athens county wasn't where they were taken. Athens county does have big bucks, as do Jackson, Scioto, Ross, Pike, Adams, etc....however, the Beatty buck was taken in Xenia ohio, just outside of Dayton. The Hanson Buck, if your talking about Milo, was taken in Saskatchewan Canada....we also have the Jonathon Schmucker buckwhich was taken in Adams County on the Ohio River....as well as the Willis buck which was residing on one of my farms, in was the largest buck taken by an archer in 1999, and scored 253 inches....these are only a few....

IL- no rifle...., Muzzy during 2nd shotgun, or late season doe only, so its slug or bow for a big boy....

WI- I think only the northern half is rifle,

IA- is slug only I think too, no rifle
