Here is my 1st bear (30-06) Two shots thru the heart dropped him. 1st shot recieved no reaction.


Here is my second bear, a 500 pounder. The arrow passed right thru and stuck into the ground. the bear got about 20 yards after the shot.


3rd bear. 400ish pounds One arrow thru the heart. got about 20 yards.


All the bear above were taken in Wisconsin. I got this one a few months ago in Minnasotas north woods. I am due to draw another tag in Wisconsin any year now. So far the 3 bears above represent the 3 tags I have drawn in over 20 years of applieing....

Top 9 in pic. Have 11 more bucks over 115" upstairs, mouflon sheep from texas, a russian boar, a coyote, 2 red foxes and a gob of turkey fans. Not bad for 14 years of hunting.

Yes, only a couple of those are from out of state, and about 1/2 are from public ground.

Haven't taken any to the Taxi untill this year.

I do have a couple sets of anters on the wall nothing special though.

One I'm most proud of. My first buck... Shot him with a bow from the ground at 20 feet.


this one measures 129 5/8


This one is at the taxi though. 153" 20 inch inside spread. 26 1/2 inch main beams.

heres the start of mine all the deer in the pic except the one on the left 130" the others score over 145" its hard to pass these ones up knowing i would but others that hunt the property would take them down anyways I wish i had my own land but at 21 i dont see that anytime soon

One on the left was taken with the bow, the other with the shotgun....They both should be finish by my taxidermist by the end of this summer

I'm trying to find some half way decent public property to hunt. I live in West Bend. We hunt way up in Price County, so I don't get enough chances to make the hall up there. I would like to find a place to sneak out in the evenings early season. I scouted the Northern Kettle Moraine last year and didn't see alot of activity. There are a couple of swamps just west of 41 by Allenton that I am going to look into this Spring. Are you over by Madison more?

I live near the Waukesha / Jefferson county border. The area over here has taken a heavy toll from the DNR with there CWD agenda though... It used to be way better than it is now. I would suggest hunting marsh'es and swamps mainly in this area of the state. There are a lot of hunters but they can't kill all the bucks doing deer drives and such in the marshes because they are just to dense and wet. This means there are always a few mature bucks in those areas. I would steer clear of the N. kettle and concentrate more on places like Horicon marsh... I just released a DVD about the system I use to consistantly get onto mature bucks in the marshes of S.E. Wisconsin. Not a kill video, but a tech. video that shows how we find and hunt mature bucks on public and pressured land.
