Default Michigan Drops (sheds)

I live in mid-michigan (grand rapids area) and was wondering if anyone is finding sheds around the area. I had some deer "yarded" up in some land I have and with the melt-off thought some sheds might me around. Many hours of searching = nothing.

I can never find sheds.... I don't know what the deal is. I am outside, and in deer country all the time. Well, good luck fellas! Thanks for the updates!

I'm in the same boat. Once we get a good snow deer sign on my property drops off the chart and I think it is because natural forage is lacking.

Here's a trick some people use,They will drop a few cedar tree's (natural forage) then check them after a couple day's and maybe drop a couple more. The deer will feed on the Cedar and it will help knock off the antler's.
In the spring or early summer you can limb them out and cut the post for use.
That is if you own your own land to do this practice.

Finding sheds requires the burning of lots of boot leather. I am usually good for 20-30 a year.

I tred plenty of leather, but to no avail. I might get lucky and have one hit me in the face once in a while! Good luck to all!
