Default ticks on our deer

I am just wondering if having ticks on the deer will effect our meat. My brother and my friend took their deer to the taxidermist and had ticks on the hide. Just wondering if that will effect the meat. I hope not. Any info is appreciated.

Nope all the deer we shot in Illinois are loaded with ticks!!! That will not affect a thing when it comes to the meat!! Walt
