Questionsabout where to hunt in southwest Ohio.
I live in Miamisburg Ohio. This will be my first whitetail hunt. Me and 2 of my friends will be going, but we dont want to spend on a guided hunt. Where is a good place to hunt down here. If anyone could please help me out that would be great.

You might contact the greater Dayton area Metro Parks. Last year they were letting people bow hunt on park lands to thin down the deer herds.

You have no need for a guided hunt. Remember that a world record came from SW Ohio. Get on the Ohio DNR website and look up public grounds to hunt. There are a bunch of smaller tracts in the SW part of the state and larger ones as you go east.
