Anybody here have a job where most of there days off are during the week?

I wish that I had that! Hunt when most others are at work. What more could you want. ha, ha

born and raised.................live in western illinois area now. Just wish I had access to some more of that prime ground here.

I take it you don't have kids. I make 60,000+ & my wife still has to work. she makes 50,000+. We couldn't make it on one persons wages with kids.

I am retired steelworker of 32 years-I can & do Bowhunt allmost year round. Whitetail in the fall, Turkeys in the spring & wild hogs the rest of the time with an Exotic trip thrown in every once in awhile plus sometimes somethin like Elk or whatever. Wife is a registered nurse & still works.
When I worked I was like anyone else-weekends, after work or take vacation time. Family comes first though-now I take my kids Bowhunting & PAY the WAY when possible. I love having them share that special time in something I care about so much....Bowhunting.....

I take my son out when I can both fishing and hunting..............it is the most important hunts I go on. Where at on the Iowa/Illinois boarder are you from? Where do you go hog hunting at?

A lot of my days off are during the week but I'm down here in the real Southern Illinois If you go any further south from me, you'll get your feet wet!
