There are also plenty of places in the brown, monroe, morgan county areas. There is Hoosier National Forest, Yellow Wood Forest, and Morgan-Monroe State Forest. That is where I do some of my hunting. Pressure really drops after the first weekend and birds are still active.

sugar ridge fish and wildlife area in Pike co. is a big tract of public hunting land, also with Turkeys.

Bowhunter1984 I'm in Greenfield... Hancock Cty also.

The best turkey hunting in the state is prolly Switzerland county.. or any other county down along the Ohio river for that matter. We do a bunch down in Orange Cty on Hoosier National property around Patoka resevoir... and down in Franklin county on some private ground.

That is where I hunt my birds. Very commm to hear 20 plus birds every morning. It is pretty amazing.
