16 Year old Blind Boy shoots deer in Michigan
#1
Read in the paper that a sixteen year old blind boy shot two bucks and feral hog.
Sixteen year old Nick Bennetta Roscommon High School sophomore has been legally blind since he was five years of age.
He earned and passed his hunters safety course back in june of 06 and wasted no time learning more about hunting.
With alot of help from friends and family he shot his first hog at the Vaunderosa Ranch in St. Helen.
Then he shot his first eight point with a rilfle and another nine point at the Anschheutz Whitetial Way in spruce.
This is truely an amazing kid not to let his blindness stop him from doing what he wants to do.

I saw a show a couple years ago where a blind boy was out hunting. He had a lazer sight and the guide helped him aim. It was neat because the guide could see the lazer on the side of the deer but the boy pulled the trigger.
