I've seen a few deer each trip down there.....I've hunted down there 5 times and think I've seen 20 deer. (All doe's)

I have not yet seen a buck. Since it's post-rut (for the most part) now, the bucks are probably taking it easy.

I was hunting there on Sat and Sunday What area were you in I park in P-4
I parked at the check-in station P-3. I have been hunting the pipeline north of P-3 and walking up the ridges.

On my way out, I pass another hunter, and his 12yr old son, walking into that same area. He asked me if that was me parked at P-3. He told me that if I parked at P-2 I wouldn't have to walk up the ridge to get up there.

He said that parking at P-2 was a longer walk but on flatter ground.

What have you been seeing in P-4? The only other area I've hunted was opening day of gun season I was in P-1 on the west side of the pipeline. I did see anything that weekend so I haven't been back up there.

I saw a maroon truck parked there and something else on Sat. Maybe an SUV Just the maroon truck on Sunday. I havent seen a deer there all year. I hunt there through out bow in the mornings and late MZ. I use to hunt the pipe line by the check in and go across the road and up the hill. It would take me 30-40 minutes to get up there it was straight up.
That place has really, really gone down hill. SO many deer have been killed so what can you expect. I remember hunting it when it first open 6-7 how many years ago. I would see 60-80 per weekend while hunting morning and evening. During the rut you could see upwards of 120 per weekend. This year including bow and MZ I have seen 2. I heard maybe 10 shots all weekend around there. I have 300 acres up the road and have not been seeing anything there either.
The reason I asked where you were I got back to my truck parked there by the wooden bridge and decide to walk up the stream a little. I heard something take off. I am pretty sure deer. I said to my self I just gave somene a gift. Sure enough not 10 seconds later boom. THen about 30 second later another boom. This was around 10 on Sat.

The maroon truck was me, GMC Z71. I left around 11am both days. I haven't seen as many deer as I would like to but I have seen a few. I would like to at least see a buck before seasons end.

Man that is a nice drive. I live in Seymour. But stay at my camper up the road there on the 300 acres. I put a bid in on a cabin and 40 acres up the road by 5 points.

I wasn't that comfortable with what the girl at the DNR office told me this morning so I called again and explained my situation, AGAIN.

This time I was told what I had feared that the 2nd ML license I bought was invalid AND, of course, they are not willing to issue a refund. It's my own fault but it still sucks.

That means my chances of getting my first bow kill the same year I got my first ML kill just got better.....because the ML will be in the closet.

That stinks Leathal. I thought that was the rule but after i saw your post earlier i thought maybe i was wrong. Some of the laws in reg books can be confusing. It's sad that not even the DNR's own employees know the correct rules. Good thing you doublechecked.
