Headed to Deer Camp 06 Thanksgiving week... Western UP.... hopefully some of our management over the past few years will begin to pay some dividends... if not... i did manage a doe permit in the lottery :)

On a side note... my pickup almost filled it's buck tag last night... thank god for good brakes and hi-beams...

If and when I get one , Buck or Doe I'll post a picture and a story to go with it .
I'm hunting in a spot known as four cornners its where four countys come together.
Seen a lot of deer and turkey in that area , good luck to allmy fellow Michiganders.

Sorry to hear about the lost big boys. I know the feeling of losing a deer...I don't like it. Infact, my pop shot a doe the other day...good blood...but we lost her. That's bowhunting. If a bowhunter says that he has never wounded and lost a deer he is not telling the whole truth or he is very very very lucky. I do have some good news. Two days before my pop shot the one we didn't find he did shoot a Button Buck. He hit the deer in the spine and dropped it right on the bait pile. It's his 20th deer and I couldnt be happier. I will add some pics when I get a chance.

6pt opening night in Allegan county.. Will post pictures and storys but im on abuddys pc and storys suck without pics!!!

The next two weekends should be good. If you miss these next two weekends, you've missed the season as far as I'm concerned. :D

Doe Mecosta County, 35 yard shot, deer went 50 yards, and enjoying the venison!

Does are gettin hot and the bucks are cruisin and chasin. It's that magical time of year when the big ones get stupid and the hunters get lucky. Good luck to ya'll. Whack em and stack em
