What we do is use a small boat the man in the back paddles up to the frog ,on cool evnings there in the water, warm evenings there on the bank ,I hang over the front of the boat and when I'm close I grab them .They stay alive and fresh. It take practice but you get to good at it ,I have cleaned out miles of rivers this way,so leave a few breeders. If the boat or paddler hit anything they are gone for a hour or so.I love the stalk. good luck and let us know how you do.Are frogs are always full of crawfish.

New Frogger, If you have access to a pond, use a spinning rod and hook on a red plastic worm. If you get it close to the lilly pad, they will scoot across the water, grab the bait with their front and jam it in their mouth. www.lazyshuntclub.org

Me and my bud used to do that , but we used a canoe with one guy paddling from the back, one guy gigging in the front ,and two coolers between us . One was half full of ice and was used for the legs , the other was 50-50 ice and beer . It's the only way to fly ...

Well, my seaon hasn't started yet. First, I had to leave town for the last two days. Then, I get home this afternoon to find out that I have to pick my son up this evening, so tonite is out. If I am luck, I'll get to it by Sunday night.[:'(]
