I live in Lake County and hunt in Porter, but am excited to say I will soon be TRADIN' UP!
Next month I will be moving 6 miles to my west, over the Illinois state line by one block! Heehee. This so I can qualify for my Illinois lifetime hunting license 30 days later. I can't wait. What a bargain at only $200. I will get 2 quality archery buck tags every year, plus be elligible to apply for at least 2 trophy special shotgun deer hunts each year, plus 2 slammer turkey draws as well. I will be in tall cotton for life.
Also sellin my 45 acres in Indiana because the Illinois public land is better anyway. Life is good.

Enjoy being a FOID card holder too Zim , at least until the commies in Chicagoland take away your hunting priveledges . Might want to hold onto the Hoosier land for awhile longer .
