Does clinton lake have turkeys on the property? I have deer hunted there and never seen turkeys around. If so can u hunt them?

According to the spring turkey permit application, Clinton Lake is open for turkey season. You can apply online at the Illinois DNR website I've linked here. I don't spend much time there so I can't help you with the location of birds but that's part of the fun of turkey hunting, scouting. Good luck ! http://dnr.state.il.us/

There are some turkeys but not a lot. I usually only see them when we're bowfishing and they're roosted in the trees up in some of the coves.

I bow hunt there ALOT, only seen a handfull of turkeys, not very many.
