I have it from a good source Mr. Schackman(hunter) accepted $75,000, but I don't know who bought it. There is a picture of it in the deer hunting forum.

Brian Robeza of Staunton, Illinois. shot a 23 to 25 point (not exactly sure). The Chief and Group Editors of North American Whitetail green scored the deer at around 194". There is a picture of it in our local paper but I don't have it.

I think the dollar amount that people are putting on some of these deer are way overblown. I shot a 212" NT that just missed being scored as a 210 1/8" Typical. If people are getting offered 10's of thousands of dollars for World Class Deer, I'm sure not seeing any of it.

There were 52 deer that Scored B & C last year. I saw at least 5 deer that were over 200" at the Illinois Deer and Turkey Classic last year. A 200" deer is just not as rare as it used to be. The deer has to be really something special to get lots of money. And I think $100,000 would probably be around the max for even a World Record Deer.

If people are really getting that kind of cash for there deer, then more power to them. A deer is really only worth what somebody is willing to pay for them.

It's somewhat pointless to pay BIG $$ for a "record" deer..only to see it fall next year. With all the products out today for the deer...the next few years are probably going to show some huge racks.

ok here is info on ill buck in west union. he weighed 210 field dressed.maybe 5 1/2 years old. had 42 points but three were broken off so that left 39 of those probably 29 are b.c. scoreable. the deer has not been sold and is being mounted sometime in jan. have not had it scored yet but will sometime after the 20th of jan.these are the facts so far that are true.the rest is hype and B.S. i wll let it be known when i get scored.

The deer is still in my possesion and is being mounted,have not had it scored yet. it weighed 210 field dressed. had 42 points ,three were broken off leaving 39 with maybe 29 scoreable. when i get it back and get scored i will let all know. i'am just glaad i got a shot at him KEN.

Ken, why don't you post the picture of the buck that includes you in it so everyone can see how nice a buck it is. By the way, I've seen the picture of this buck with you kneeling with it.
