*laughs* my mom dared me to go into the house and get cleaned up after we first brought him home... Like all 'city girl' cleaned up and then pose with the dead deer... But I opted on skinning him out instead. Lol...

Great buck, I hunt in NE Kansas too, just west of Lawrence and up in Nemha county. A lot of big bucks here.

Pretty cold... rosy cheeks had to do with the cold and the adrenaline rush I was still having I think... lol - that pic was taken about 10 minutes after the kill - i was still freaking out!
