Just on opening weekend alone hunters took half of the total. over 100,000 deer in just 24 hours of shhotable hunting light. Buck harvest skyrocketed which is really good sign.

Ya i know especially since there aren't any check stations this year. All on the net and phone. Plus the antler point restrictions and people taking illegal bucks.

According to the conservation dept the opening day numbers are down 23% for Missouri. I know it was tough this year full moon, acorns everywhere, and the damn wind & rain

ya i know deer were down opening weekend but we made up for it. only down 2000 deer from last year.
