RE: Ohio rut??????
I'm with you I posted a question below about what's going on with the rut this year. We hunt SE Ohio and man I tell ya things have been really slow. Hardly seen any rut activity at all. My only guess is that the crazy wind and the warm temps have delayed the rut and if my drive to work in the morning is any indication, I'd get out this weekend. The past two days on my drive to work I've seen more dead deer than I have in the previous 3 months. I actually take that to be a good sign as the deer are up and moving about. Hopefully this will be the weekend, if not there's going to be some happy gun hunters.
